I'm new to spinning, is it something I can do?

Of Course! spinning/ indoor cycling is a personal journey and the difficulty of the class is at the rider's discretion.  Our classes are

appropriate for all fitness levels which allows both beginners and advanced riders alike to benefit immensely from this workout.

The most important thing to remember is to push when you feel you can, and take a breather when it feels right.

How old do I have to be to ride?

Riders must be at least 14 years old, and riding with a parent/guardian.

When should I arrive for class?

Studio doors will open 10 minutes prior to the start of class.  At that time you will be able to go directly to your bike.  We recommend new riders to show up 10 minutes early so we can get you all set up and ready to crush your ride.  If you arrive more than 10 minutes early, please do not wait in our hallway out of respect for our neighbors.  Please know, due to Covid-19, we cannot allow late arrivals, doors will lock at the start of class.

Do I need to sign up ahead of time?

Yes! That is the only way we can guarantee we have a bike for you!  You can reserve your spot up to 7 days prior to the class.  Once you arrive at the studio, you can pick any bike you'd like, but due to Covid-19 we cannot accommodate walk-in riders.

I am on the waitlist- what does that mean?

Waitlisted riders will be notified via e-mail if they have been added to a class.  Riders can be added up to 2 hours prior to the start of a class.  If you do not get our e-mails be sure to check your preferences, or ask us at the desk to make sure you are opted- in.  You can also always access your MindBody account to see your position.  Riders are never penalized for removing themselves from a waitlist, however, if you fail to show up to a class you have been added to, you will be charged a "no-show" fee.

Riders waitlisted for an early morning class- If you do not get in by the time you go to sleep, and you do not plan to wake up for the class, please remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid penalties.  Chances are, if you wake up in the morning, there will be a bike ready for you!

Can I cancel my ride without penalties?

Yes!  Cancel out of a registered class more than 6 hours in advance and you are in the clear!   We ask that you cancel any reservations as soon as you know you cannot attend to allow any waitlist riders as much notice as possible that they can clip in.  If you are registered for a class that you can no longer make, but can attend another one that day, call the studio, we will switch you free of charge (assuming there are available bikes).  Any late cancels within our 6 hour cancellation period, or no shows, will result in the loss of the class for package riders.  Unlimited riders will be charged a $10 late cancel fee, or a $15 no-show fee.

Do you have changing rooms?

Yes! we understand how busy life gets, and how squeezing in that workout before or after work can leave you tight on time. Because of that, we have changing rooms and restrooms available for your use, as well as cubbies and coat racks for all riders to store their belongings.  Although a WheelHouse team member will always be supervising your belongings, we suggest leaving all valuables at home.

Do I need to bring anything special?

Show up with clothes you are comfortable working out in- we recommend tight pants or shorts for the ride.  Each rider will be required to wear bike shoes as a way to optimize the ride.  Our bikes are compatible with SPD clips, if you have your own, bring them!.  Don't have a pair? No sweat, we have them available at the studio free of charge, but we strongly suggest buying your own pair if you are serious about cycling!
